Strength & Flexibility

Earth: This hot yoga class is warmed to 98 degrees and is a series of poses held for 30 to 60 seconds, as opposed to a flow-oriented class. The class emphasizes focus, strength, stability, and flexibility, using heat to more deeply open the body and mind. Features 26 poses – standing, balance, and floor series.

Core: A similar flow structure to the Fire and Wind classes, Core strengthens the abdominals and back, while also incorporating twists and forward folds to help wring out the internal organs, remove toxins, and improve flexibility of the spine, making way for a more balanced and centered you – from the inside out!

Wind: A high-energy, flow-oriented class. Wind is for the yogi looking to take their practice to the next level. These moderately paced 60-75 minute sessions offer several modifications and variations of postures for everyone from beginners to those more advanced. All will be challenged with focus on breath, movement, and foundational strength.

Yin: Find balance in a mostly Yang - fast, hard, aggressive - dominated world with a slow, quiet, cool Yin yoga practice. Yin asana reaches deeper than the superficial and muscular tissues of the body to stimulate the often neglected deep connective tissues, ligaments, bones and joints. These deep stretching poses are held for several minutes, leading to powerful body transformations.

Energy & Vitality

Heart: This Anusara-inspired class emphasizes grace and flow while blending together the tantric philosophies of heart and goodness with the science of proper alignment. Anusara (a-nu-sar-a) yoga literally means "flowing with Grace," "going with the flow," "following your heart", which is exactly what you will find in this dynamic practice. Anusara yoga philosophy looks for the good in all people, allowing students of all ages and experience levels to participate.

Spirit: Awaken mind, body, and spirit in this Jivamukti-inspired practice. Jivamukti means “liberation while living,” and our Spirit 75 class combines flow asana with meditation, breath, chanting, music, and yogic philosophy for a physically and intellectually stimulating class. Spirit inspires us to bring yoga beyond the mat and into our daily lives.

Water: This entry-level class is ideal for newcomers and anyone interested in getting back to the basics of yoga. Water is a flow class offered with a little less heat and intensity than other classes. The pace of the flow is a little slower to allow poses and transitions to be broken down and explained. Teachers will focus on alignment, breathing, and fun!

Rock: Rock your Bodhi! This refreshing twist to the traditional flow class will get the heart and the music pumping. Be prepared for a great time and an exhilarating workout! Cardiovascular Fitness

Fire: An intense vinyasa flow and workout for the entire body. You will stretch and strengthen every muscle of your body! No matter your age or level of experience, be prepared to sweat and break through your boundaries as you push your limits and build stamina. TYH’s Fire heated vinyasa flow offers a dynamic combination of breath, strength, power, and spirituality. Heated to 90-94 degrees.

Sun: A shortened version of the Fire class, offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday at sunrise, with an emphasis on awakening the body and breath to embrace the new day. Wind: An intermediate-level flow class. Wind is for the yogi looking to take their yoga practice to the next level. This moderate paced flow class offers several modifications and variations of postures for every yogi from beginners to those more advanced. All will be challenged in this fast-paced focus on breath, movement, and foundational strength.

Relax & Renew

Yin: Find balance in a mostly Yang - fast, hard, aggressive - dominated world with a slow, quiet, cool Yin yoga practice. Yin asana reaches deeper than the superficial and muscular tissues of the body to stimulate the often neglected deep connective tissues, ligaments, bones and joints. These deep stretching poses are held for several minutes, leading to powerful body transformations.

Restore: Restorative yoga utilizes props to support the body during postures and long holds to encourage the body to let go and ultimately find deep rest and relaxation within each posture. When the body feels nurtured and supported, openness naturally occurs and healing begins. This practice is great for people of all yoga levels and especially those suffering from chronic pain, injury, insomnia, and stress.
